UTEC represents its members through a variety of education, advocacy and public policy initiatives. Our membership includes many of the state’s most respected companies and associations. The organization’s primary focus is to ensure the business and regulatory climate is both fair and reasonable, so that our members may provide customers with safe and reliable utility services.  

We strive to educate policymakers, as well as offer information to regulators, media and community leaders throughout the Mountain State to achieve this goal. UTEC members include many of the state’s largest employers and taxpayers, and our member companies directly impact the daily lives of all state residents and businesses alike.
